Business constellations achieve the same, but at an organisational and professional level. Elena Altimirska is a recognised practitioner in this field. She holds a PhD in organisational psychology, is an accredited master coach, entrepreneur and consultant with over 30 years of experience; and a lecturer at Sofia University, NBU and UNWE. She has completed training in family constellations as well as numerous programmes in business constellations and systemic coaching in the Netherlands and the UK.

What is the philosophy of business constellations based on?

Business constellations are an approach for understanding and managing hidden dynamics within an organisation and a team, based on family constellations and a systemic perspective. In this method, the individual, the team or the organisation is seen as part of something larger, where principles apply that support the preservation and development of the whole system.

In this way, business constellations can explore and influence topics such as career development, attitudes to money, leadership, marketing, strategy, and team and organisational effectiveness.

How can they help an organisation?

Business constellations help to uncover and shed light on unconscious patterns and tendencies that pull an organisation in an undesirable direction. For example, if a key employee in an organisation is "excluded", demotivation, declining quality and even sabotage may occur.

Another important principle is balance. Every system strives for long-term balance; when it is disrupted, tendencies emerge that aim to restore it. For example, if an organisation causes harm to its clients or employees, this may be followed by a decline in sales, loss of customers and staff turnover.

Business constellations work when a situation is examined openly, hidden dynamics arising from the violation of one of the core systemic principles are recognised, and a new perspective, resource or form of support is sought to aid transformation and development.

How are business constellations beneficial for a professional?

They can be extremely valuable for anyone.

Entrepreneurs, for example, can explore what is blocking the development of a product, a team or even the entire company. Employees can gain clarity on what is holding back their career development. Managers can learn to lead from a position of respect towards those above them and those who joined the team before them.

При този метод човекът, екипът или организацията се смятат за част от нещо по-голямо, където важат принципите за запазване и развитие на цялата система.

Така бизнес констелациите могат да разглеждат и повлияват теми като кариерно развитие, отношение към парите, лидерство, маркетинг, стратегия, екипна и организационна ефективност.

Как могат да помогнат те на една организация?

Бизнес констелациите помагат да се разкрият и осветлят несъзнавани модели и тенденции, които влекат организацията в нежелана посока. Например, ако в дадена организация ключов служител е "изключен", могат да се появят демотивация, влошено качество, дори саботажи.

Друг важен принцип е балансът. Всяка система се стреми към дългосрочен баланс – ако той е нарушен, се проявяват тенденции, насочени към неговото изравняване. Например, ако организацията нанесе вреда на свои клиенти или служители, може да последва спад в продажбите, отлив на потребители, текучество.
