The Bulgarian Association of Asset Management Companies is inviting you to an event that can boost your business
A rare opportunity to learn how to make the most of EU's Asset Management Regulation - this is in short the reason to register for a special event, organised by the Bulgarian Association of Asset Management Companies, or BAAMC, on 27 November.
The University of Insurance and Finance in Sofia will host a lecture by Prof Armin Kammel, Managing Director of FS&R Excellence. For years, he was board member of EFAMA and has rich managerial experience as managing partner at DLA Piper. He is also a lecturer in a number of universities.
In his Sofia lecture, Prof Kammel will cover the following topics:
- Offering a holistic overview of current EU Asset Management regulation;
- Explain the rationales and purposes of the current regulatory framework in order to demonstrate to the audience how to best deal with that;
- Enhance the understanding of the rationales and requirements of the forthcoming DORA and MiCAR;
- Address the potentials of the existing cross-border regulatory framework by demonstrating fascinating opportunities also for smaller asset management companies;
- Provide concrete practical insights of how EU Asset Management Regulation is handled in other EU member states;
- Demonstrate new regulatory options which may be worth exploring for traditional asset management companies as it would boost their position of alternative financing in the current financial ecosystem.
The lecture will take place on 27 November, Wednesday, from 3:30 pm, at the ceremonial hall of the University of Insurance and Finance, in Ovcha Kupel, 1 Gusla St.
