Each young tech company dreams one day to become a global leader. The Bulgarian EGT has already done that. Established in Sofia in 2002, today Euro Games Technology is a key partner of the international casino equipment market. It operates in over 100 markets, has 28 offices around the world and more than 3,200 active employees. Vladimir Dokov, СЕО, elaborates.

EGT has a global presence. How do you effectively coordinate and administer teams across nearly 30 different countries?

This task requires a special approach that blends localized decision-making with centralized strategic direction. At the core of our success is a strong organizational culture that transcends borders. For example, our headquarters is in Bulgaria, our CFO is in Germany, and our vice president and sales director lives in Panama.

We empower our local leaders to cater to the specific demands of their markets while remaining aligned with our strategy and values. This process requires a lot of effort, but above all, it is crucial to invest in leadership development. ЕGT is also flexible. Our approach varies in different markets, even at a regional level. Ambition, adaptability, excellent knowledge of the business environment, and skills to identify good opportunities are essential to us.

This brings me to another factor, and that is trust. When the team trusts their management, they feel empowered to take initiative, share ideas, and work toward our common goals. We have achieved this interesting balance of qualities and potential in our offices.

What milestone or aspect of the company are you most proud of, and why?

While there have been many invaluable achievements over the years, what I am most proud of remains our incredible team. At EGT, we have assembled a group of highly skilled professionals at different levels in our structure. This creates a collaborative environment, which is one of our strengths, along with our ongoing commitment to innovation. When implementing new technologies or working methods, we also invest in our people by building their capacity to a new level. It's a double investment and a double win. It's great seeing someone grow and contribute to our success as a company.

What qualities a talent must possess in order to be a complete part of EGT?

Our company provides opportunities for the professional realization of talents in various fields. We are ready to welcome experienced and proven personnel as well as young people who are just starting their careers.

Talents working at EGT should have enthusiasm and a desire to improve themselves as specialists and acquire new knowledge and skills. We have built a culture of sharing, encouraging our employees to develop their creativity and present their ideas, even unconventional ones.

Основана в София през 2002 г., днес Euro Games Technology е ключов партньор на международния пазар за казино оборудване. Тя работи на над 100 пазара, има 28 офиса по целия свят и над 3200 активни служители. Владимир Доков, СЕО, разказва повече.

EGT е компания с глобално присъствие. Как успявате да балансирате и менажирате екипи в близо 30 държави?

Тази задача изисква специфичен подход, който съчетава вземане на решения на локално ниво и следване на стратегическа посока, идваща от централата. В основата на успеха ни е здравата организационна култура във всички наши офиси. Например нашата централа е в България, нашият финансов директор е в Германия, а нашият вицепрезидент и директор "Продажби" – в Панама.

Насърчаваме локалните ни лидери максимално да се съобразяват със специфичните изисквания на пазарите, в които работят, като се придържат към нашата стратегия и ценности. Този процес изисква много усилия, но преди всичко е важно да инвестираме в развитието на потенциала на нашите лидери. EGT проявява и гъвкавост. Подходът ни е съобразен с особеностите на различните пазари, включително на регионално ниво. Амбицията, адаптивността, отличното познаване на бизнес средата и способността да идентифицираш добрите възможности са ключови за нас.

Това ме води до още един фактор – доверието. Когато хората имат доверие на своите ръководители, те имат куража да поемат инициатива, да споделят идеите си и да работят за общите цели. Постигнали сме този интересен баланс на качества и потенциал в нашите офиси.

С кое постижение или аспект на компанията се гордеете най-много и защо?

Имаме не малко успехи през годините, но най-много се гордея с нашия невероятен екип. Ние в EGT сме изградили отбор от висококвалифицирани професионалисти на различни нива. Атмосферата на сътрудничество и постоянната ни ангажираност към иновациите са сред силните ни страни. Когато въвеждаме нови технологии или методи на работа, ние инвестираме и в нашите хора, допринасяйки за увеличаването на капацитета им и израстването им като специалисти. Това е едновременно двойна инвестиция и двойна печалба. Страхотно е да виждаш някого да израства и да има активно участие в постигането на успеха ни като компания.

Какви качества трябва да притежава един талант, за да е пълноценна част от екипа на EGT?
