Gergana Noveva, co-founder of GPTS Print Shop, on print innovation and creativity
In the digital environment quality prints always catch the eye and often turn into a memory, which we cannot delete by chance. Gergana Noveva, co-founder of GPTS Print Shop is an economist by education, an artist by vocation, a mother of two children, and a dedicated manager. Her team can bring to life your fanciest ideas, whether you need a billboard, luminous sign, or just a printed T-shirt.
What is your formula for success?
It is hard to say that there is a success formula in the print advertising industry. We owe everything to constant round-the-clock work, to sacrifice, made by the managing team and by all experts and employees working at our company. The right way for us is the one that makes customers satisfied and willing to call us again.
How do you adapt to the constantly changing environment?
We adapt to changes following the trends in technology and trying to implement innovation in the field of print and digital advertising. To us, it is very important to be creative in our approach and to manage to conquer new heights.

What are your most unconventional projects?
We have many in our portfolio. But the most memorable are the ones that left a trace in time. We collaborate with several big clients and they always give us almost “impossible” tasks, but every time we work things out. We have printed on textile and silk with very innovative technology. We have produced difficult to assemble gift boxes, as well as branded product sets. We have interesting luminous wood articles – wall clocks, signs, boxes, and toys. Our product range is really diverse – illuminated acrylic signs, engraved columns, laser engraved medals, and watches. We use several different methods in the production of beautiful and stylish leather or coloured hardcover notebooks.
How do you see the future of print advertising?
We live in a time of increasingly dynamic digitalisation of products and services, however, I am sure there is still a lot of life in print advertising. Many businesses and publishing houses rely on print, and the paper book will always be preferred to the digital book reader. There is something magical and authentic in printed words, which cannot be deleted and cannot disappear.
Although digitalisation is everywhere around, the products I have made become a memory to people. We try to be environmentally friendly and to reduce the negative impact on nature.
Is there an approach which works well in both being a mother and being a manager?
The two things are quite different by their nature, but there is a balance in between. Being a manager is a responsibility like being a parent – in both cases, you should take care of other people. And I think working with people is very productive, dynamic and truly interesting.
