What is Casa Ferrari's concept?

The B&B tradition began after the FWW, when conversation between the hosts and the travellers become a core mutual practice. Over time, guests grew accustomed to talking to their hosts, learning more about local life, history, culture, and cuisine. Today, these conversations are fundamental part of B&B's philosophy.

At Casa Ferrari B&B, I strictly follow this. While my guests enjoy their breakfast of traditionally made bread roll (milinka) and cheese pie (banitsa) with Bulgarian yoghurt, I share with them stories and insights about Bulgarian and Balkan history and culture. These conversations often develop into lengthy discussions that foster valuable relationships and even lasting friendships. Some of my very first guests still choose Casa Ferrari when they regularly visit Sofia, 20 years later. For them, Casa Ferrari is a Home Away From Home.

My long-term vision for the business has always been to take a natural and honest approach towards guests. The result are the overwhelmingly positive reviews on trusted online platforms. Thanks to these, I once hosted a Japanese guest who was writing an e-guide to Bulgaria. On our final breakfast together, he said: "In Japan, we have a proverb: "Every peach tree has its path." For me, Bulgaria is the peach tree, and you are the path. Thank you!" Today, this saying, written in Japanese, hangs in the common room. And very often the new guests ask about it and I share that wonderful moment.
