Stanislava Mitova is a psychologist who has discovered the potential of energy coaching to heal childhood traumas, to help us connect with our essence and to turn our lives into a harmonious, conscious existence.

Are the traumas we carry from our childhood a destiny or an opportunity for personal growth and a happy life?

The answer is: both.

From the moment we enter this world, we "choose'"the environment into which we will be born – our parents, their dynamics and internal models. They do not start from scratch with our birth – they already carry their experiences, limitations and ways of connecting. In this sense, we come with the potential to experience exactly these lessons.

But traumas in themselves are not a guarantee of growth – they are an opportunity. If a person remains locked in them, in the pain and in the repeating patterns, they become a limitation. If, however, one starts the journey towards awareness and processing, it is these very things that can become a driver for deep inner transformation and a happy life.

Why is it important not to sweep this type of trauma under the carpet of the subconscious?

I use this expression very often because it is something almost every one of us does.

When the pain is too strong, our psyche tries to protect us. The fastest way is to stow it away deep in the subconscious so that we can function. This is a natural mechanism.

The problem is that an unprocessed emotion does not disappear. It remains in the body, in our reactions and in our choices – especially in relationships. This is how repetition begins: the same situations, the same pain, but with different people.

To break this cycle, it is necessary to allow the emotion to be experienced. To let it pass through the body rather than being suppressed. Only then can it be transformed.

How can we identify, analyse and process them?

Very often people come with the feeling that they have already experienced a certain situation – "I forgave", "I let it go", "I left it in the past".

But in the process of work, it becomes clear that the reason they seek me out is precisely because they have not experienced it fully. They have understood it logically, but they have not allowed themselves to feel it and release it on an emotional level.

True processing requires a process. In my practice, I work with a structured approach, especially with childhood traumas, through work with the inner child. Within a series of sessions, we go through identifying the primary wounds, connecting with the emotion, becoming aware of the repeating patterns and releasing the trapped energy.

This is not a one-off solution, but a deep process in which a person allows themselves to feel what they once could not.

What defines the male and female type of energy and why is it important to know both types?

Every person carries within them both male and female energy. If we do not know these two aspects, a part of us remains unknown.

Their source is our parents – they set the initial model for love, security and boundaries. Male energy is associated with structure, action and direction. Female energy – with feeling, acceptance and intuition.

The imbalance between them often comes from childhood experiences and from the models we have inherited. The true goal is not to choose one, but to create balance and a mature presence of both.

Do childhood traumas differ in men and women – and what is your approach?

Traumas can be the same – rejection, abandonment, abuse – but they are experienced differently.

In men, they often manifest through closing off, distance or difficulty in expressing emotions. In women – through fear of abandonment, dependency or losing oneself in relationships. Besides the psychological, there is also an energy aspect – the trauma can be "recorded" in a different energy centre and in a different zone of the body.

Therefore, the approach is always individual – it combines talk therapy, work with the inner child and energy techniques to reach a real release.

You chose to practise energy coaching because...

… I believe that a person is not just their thoughts and behaviour.

Psychology is extremely important, but behind it lies a deeper level – our energy state, which influences the way we experience life.

Often, people understand what has happened to them, but they cannot change the pattern. For them, the change has not occurred at an energy level.

That is why I combine traditional psychology with energy coaching and energy practices. In this way, we not only become aware of the problem but also release it from the body and the nervous system. For me, this is the most holistic approach – working with the mind, body and energy simultaneously.

Soul Heatlh:
