But as the company employed professionals with experience in Internet projects dating back to 1997, the results were fast to come. Today, the team of Reshenia.com has been behind the success of thousands of digital marketing projects. The owner, Aleksandar Nenov, tells more.

Reshenia.com is known for its innovative marketing campaigns. Can you tell us about your role in promoting Greece as a tourist destination?

This was one of the greatest challenges of my career. In 2007, we were hired to change Bulgarians' perception of Greece. Back then, it was considered distant, expensive, and inconvenient destination. Our goal was to transform these attitudes and position Greece as a preferred destination. We worked during a time when social media was in its infancy, and Google Maps wasn't widely available. We created our own digital channels and combined these efforts with TV, radio, and print media.

What were the main messages of the campaign?

Our strategy was to show the truth about Greece. We focused on its proximity, affordability, and unique experiences. We showcased the beauty of the beaches, the hospitality of the locals, the rich cuisine, and the historical landmarks. Authenticity was key – our content was always fact-based. This built trust and inspired people to head to Greece.

How did you measure the success of the campaign?

The success was evident – the hotels we promoted were fully booked months in advance. Traffic to the Greek border increased significantly, and summer border queues became part of the culture. Even in recent years, restrictions didn't diminish interest in Greece, proving the long-term impact of our efforts.

How do you adapt to the constantly changing digital marketing environment?

Adaptation is key for us. When we started, digital advertising was limited to banners and email campaigns. Now we use artificial intelligence, programmatic advertising, and consumer behavior data.

What are your team' s strengths?

Това беше едно от най-големите предизвикателства в кариерата ми. През 2007 г. ни наеха да променим възприятието на българите за Гърция. Тогава тя се смяташе за далечна, скъпа и неудобна. Целта ни беше да трансформираме тези нагласи и да я превърнем в предпочитана дестинация. По това време социалните мрежи прохождаха, а Google Maps не беше широко достъпен. Създадохме собствени дигитални канали и комбинирахме усилията си с телевизия, радио и печат.

Какви бяха основните послания на кампанията?

Стратегията ни беше да покажем истината за Гърция. Акцентирахме върху близостта, достъпността и уникалните преживявания. Представяхме красотата на плажовете, гостоприемството на местните, богатата кухня и историческите забележителности. Използвахме автентичност – съдържанието ни винаги беше базирано на факти. Това изграждаше доверие и вдъхновяваше хората да тръгнат към Гърция.

Как измерихте успеха на кампанията?

Успехът беше очевиден – хотелите, които промотирахме, се запълваха за месеци напред. Трафикът към гръцката граница значително нарасна, а задръстванията там се превърнаха в част от лятната култура. Дори ограниченията през последните години не намалиха интереса към Гърция, което доказва трайния ефект на нашите усилия.

Как успявате да се адаптирате към постоянно променящата се среда на дигиталния маркетинг?

Адаптацията е ключова за нас. Когато започнахме, дигиталната реклама се ограничаваше до банери и имейли. Сега използваме изкуствен интелект, програматик реклама и данни за поведението на потребителите.
