Founded and led by Iren Dikova-Dimitrov and Nikolay Dimitrov, D3 Design is a Sofia-based creative studio that seamlessly combines interior design, branding, and visual communication. With over a decade of experience, the duo and their team have built a strong reputation for creating refined, timeless, and emotionally engaging designs. From luxury interiors to complete brand identities, D3 Design approaches every project with a holistic vision – crafting spaces and visuals that tell a story and leave a lasting impression.

D3 has been active for over ten years now. How has the studio's signature style and approach evolved over time?

Over the past decade, D3 Design has evolved from a boutique interior design studio into a multidisciplinary creative house. Today, alongside interiors, we also specialize in graphic design, advertising, and full-scale brand creation – from concept to execution. This transformation naturally shaped our signature style, which remains elegant, balanced, and timeless, but now carries a deeper narrative and stronger visual identity. We believe that great design is not only about beautiful spaces, but about creating a holistic experience – one that connects people, brands, and emotions.

In your opinion, what is the key to achieving a successful contemporary interior? How do you apply this in your own projects?

For us, the essence of a successful contemporary interior lies in harmony – between functionality, aesthetics, and emotion. A space should feel effortless yet thoughtfully composed. We always begin by understanding our clients' lifestyle, rhythm, and values, and then translate that into design through natural materials, clean forms, and subtle individuality. A truly contemporary interior should reflect not trends, but authenticity – something that feels timeless and personal.

How do you balance your creative vision with your clients' desires and ideas?

Design is a collaboration, not a solo act. We see our role as both listeners and guides – to interpret our clients' ideas and elevate them through our creative vision. The process always starts with trust. Once that is established, it becomes an inspiring exchange where both sides contribute to something greater. We believe the best results happen when creativity meets empathy – when design becomes a dialogue rather than a directive.

What has been the most exciting project you have worked on so far?

Two projects come to mind immediately – the Gucci Boutique in Vienna and LABOR8. Working on the Gucci boutique, in collaboration with a Viennese architect, was a true milestone – a project that combined precision, luxury, and creativity on a world-class level. The experience expanded our perspective and refined the way we approach both design and teamwork today.

On the other hand, LABOR8 is our team's true "baby" – a project we developed entirely from scratch, from brand identity and interior design to advertising, showroom concept, and a strong social media presence. It perfectly represents what D3 Design has become today – a multidisciplinary studio capable of creating a complete brand experience, where every visual and spatial element speaks the same language.
