With smart development policies, strategic offices and international outreach, eLando is steadily becoming a landmark company
The modern IT environment evolves so quickly that yesterday's innovation quickly becomes ubiquitous today – and outdated tomorrow. In this ever-changing field, the companies that rely on eLando for their software solutions and services are in good hands. In less than ten years after it entered the market, the Bulgarian company that specialises in tech consulting services, software engineering services, mobile, blockchain and cybersecurity solutions, and reselling of software licences, has become a respected local player with a growing reach beyond Bulgaria.
In short, if a company wants to keep its digital transformation aligned with the latest developments – a partnership with eLando is an excellent idea. To a significant extent, the success of this small but ambitious company is thanks to the vision, efforts and communication skills of its founder and CEO, Stanimir Boychev.
Before founding eLando, in 2016, Mr Boychev gained invaluable experience in software development and IT, mastering a wide range of technologies, architectures and approaches to solving different types of managerial challenges for companies such as IBM, American Express, Mobiltel, Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency, Edoardo Miroglio, DHL and others. These professional qualities, combined with his outstanding soft skills, make him a leader any team would be happy to follow.
What goals did you set when founding eLando? And how do things look today?
At the beginning, it was simple – we wanted to build a company where good engineers could do meaningful work without the noise and politics that often come with corporate environments. We were focused on solving real problems, not chasing buzzwords. Over the years, that same mindset helped us grow. Today, we have delivered over 100 projects across FinTech, InsurTech, and digital transformation. We have stayed independent, agile, and practical – and I would say that is the best proof we have stuck to our original goal.

What qualities must an IT entrepreneur have to build a successful company?
You need to stay close to the business side of things – understand how your clients make money, where they lose time, and how technology can actually help. It is not about having the boldest vision, it is about being useful. Also, in services, consistency beats brilliance. Building a team you trust and sticking to your word matters more than chasing trends.
What sets eLando apart on the market?
What sets us apart is that we pair experienced developers with top graduates from local universities and focus on delivering real, working solutions. We have built four strategic offices across Bulgaria – each located in a city with a strong tech university – which gives us direct access to emerging talent and lets us train and work with people locally. This model keeps quality high, costs balanced and creates lasting value for both our clients and the communities we are part of.
What are your core services and competencies?
We focus on custom software development for clients in FinTech, InsurTech, and Blockchain. Most of our work revolves around payment systems, insurance portals, lending platforms, and digital transformation. On the technical side, we are strong in backend-heavy solutions, integrations, and anything that needs to be secure, stable, and scalable. We are also good at coming in as a flexible extension of a client's internal team when needed.
Is there a project that is especially close to your heart – and why?
Yes – a project we did for a regional insurer. They needed to move fast from manual, branch-based operations to a fully digital environment – driven both by internal priorities and regulatory pressure. We supported them by building customer portals, internal systems, and tools that now serve hundreds of thousands of users. It was a defining moment for their operations and an important milestone in our journey as a tech partner.
Where is eLando heading next?
We are currently integrating AI into our internal workflows and trying out different tools to see where they bring the most value. This is not about following a trend – it is about staying practical and ahead of the curve. The industry is on the brink of serious change, and we want to be among the first to adapt. We do not see AI as just another add-on. It is a turning point in how software gets written – and we are adjusting our approach to match.
