Project: LuxuryWatches Stockholm
Year: 2019/2020
LuxuryWatches Stockholm is in the heart of Sweden's capital and is owned by the legendary watch dealer Tony Kavak. A challenging commission that required incorporation of rooms located in separate parts of the building, openings in walls that are 60 cm thick, levelling the heights of the rooms and full renovation. The layout of the newly built rooms includes a spacious office for the owner, where are located some of the unique watches. The glass floor allows Mr Kavak to see the exhibits. The rest of the space includes imposing passage zones and administrative quarters.
Some of the materials in the projects are MDF, natural stone, large slabs, rare veneer, walnut, genuine leather, glass, several types of metal, mirrors and fitted carpet. All the furniture, show cases, panelwork, glass, mirrors, staircases, and desks were designed and manufactured exclusively for the client. Special attention was paid to Mr Kavak's chair, inspired by the design of his favourite car.
