The co-founder and sales director of Hristina Cosmetics on the importance of building trust

When the brand stepped on the local market, in 2000, natural cosmetics made by family businesses were not in the focus of consumers' attention. The elegant formulas of Hristina, made from selected ingredients in an environmentally clean region of Bulgaria quickly gained following; clients were enchanted by their effectiveness, inventiveness, and affordability. With the years, they grew into a stable and growing consumer base that deservedly trusts Hristina Cosmetics's professional approach towards beauty care. The company has replied with a growing portfolio of products catering to a wide range of needs and problems.
When you co-founded Hristina Cosmetics, Bulgarian natural cosmetics were rather unknown. What gave you the confidence that you were on the right track?
I was happy with what I was doing. Even when there were challenges I had the energy to fight, as if the entire Universe was sending me what I needed in order to reach my goals. It never crossed my mind to ask myself if I was actually on the right track – I just knew that this was my journey, that I wanted to do this. I never doubted this, neither then, nor now.
What was the most important thing that made Hristina Cosmetics a recognizable and loved brand?
A lot of things come to my mind, one of these is the connection and trust between us and our clients. This helps us to grow. We have always taken care to listen to our consumers' demands and recommendations. They are our inspiration and motivate us to be better in what we do. I believe that they sense and see our efforts and passion to make cosmetics that meet their desires, ideas, and needs. This is how for over 25 years we have loved our clients and they love us back, seek our products and trust them. As a family company the other important thing is our dedicated team who we value, respect and love.
You cannot imagine life without what products of Hristina Cosmetics?
I love all our products and have tried them all. When I am not at the seaside and using our 30 SPF sun high protection milk and tanning oil with cocoa and coconut, I cannot live without our cleansing milk with rose water, illuminating face cream and secret foundation. I also cannot live without my beloved SEZMAR LOVE aphrodisiac body lotion and pheromone perfume. I use them after a shower with a shower gel from the same collection.
