FIRST ANNUAL ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE (ESG) REPORT BY ACRONIS

Tue, 02/15/2022 - 17:21

Acronis announced the results of its first annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. This report sets the standard that Acronis takes pride in its continued efforts to help our planet with its diversity, environmental and social efforts.

The ESG Report outlines the various initiatives launched by Acronis in our unrelenting efforts to improve the social, environmental, and governance climates globally and make the world just that much better. These initiatives include:

• Supporting underserved and neglected communities, which Acronis continues to do so with the Schools Initiative project under the Acronis Cyber Foundation, planning to complete 20 more projects in 2022,

• Reducing overall emissions and our carbon footprint, joining the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint (SSB) focused on reducing overall waste in the country by over 70% by 2030,

• Adopting robust health and safety measures for all employees—especially important as the world recovers from the pandemic, by implementing COVID-19 restrictions and monitoring expert health recommendations, and

• Bringing more women into a male-dominated industry with various female empowerment measures, such as four “Women in Tech” panels that were impactful keynotes at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit World Tour 2021/2022.

This report also takes a deeper look at some of our upcoming initiatives and goals as we head off into 2022. These goals will especially strive to make Acronis as energy-efficient and resource-conscious as possible as we journey into these critical years where the earth’s health is more important than it ever was before.
