What are the most sought-after languages and specialists in BPO and SSC companies today?

BPO and SSC companies seek individuals proficient in languages crucial to global business, where local expenses can be lower than those in the respective countries. This makes German and French among the most sought-after languages, but of course, roles requiring English proficiency are abundant, as well as those with other European languages. Interestingly, it's not just about language proficiency anymore; there's a demand for profiles with expertise in specific domains such as finance, risk assessment, human resources, technical support, and others.

What's the secret to quality language recruitment? Why is it important for it to be conducted by experienced professionals?

There are no secrets. It's about understanding the needs of employers, candidates, effective communication, and human relationships. This operates on an emotional level, yet it's the most crucial aspect. Additionally, understanding the business domain is essential. In our case, it's language recruitment. When we established Center Stars, we essentially created a new category in recruitment. Language recruitment allows for not only understanding the linguistic specifics of each language in demand but also understanding and working with intercultural differences, which is crucial not only for finding candidates but also for the outcome post-appointment, which ultimately distinguishes Quality of Hire.

Most of the people we work with are from Generation Z. We've learned from them a lot about their needs, communication style, and speed of decision-making, and we've adapted some of our processes.

Currently, in addition to the traditional method of applying for a job, we've provided a way for anyone to give us the opportunity to be the active party in finding and realizing the best professional opportunity for them, without the need to apply to a specific job posting, prepare a tailored resume, or anything else. There's an option to play our language game on the website, take our language quest and be prepared for the real interview. The rest is our concern because we value people's time and believe everyone should feel the added value of our service and human interaction. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

The Center Stars team consists of young people. How do you motivate them to give their best?

When we're engaged in what we do, we always give our best without needing any additional motivation. Of course, we all have different desires and ambitions, and the newer generations are not afraid to clearly state them. From this perspective, it might even be easier when the team consists of bold followers who know what they want, are unafraid to express it, and can find and achieve it through their work. If cultivated correctly, this becomes part of the organizational culture, and everyone in the team is highly engaged.
