Bioethanol fireplaces are the modern solution for our need for live fire in the spaces that we inhabit, where we work and have fun. The best of them are in the catalogues of Biokamini Fria. The company is representative of the biggest European and international manufacturers such as Planika, Kratki, GlammFire, EbiosFire, Cocoon, and MagicW, but also offers bespoke fireplace solutions and selected Italian furniture. We talked to Yoana Ikonomova, owner and manager, to learn more.
Give us three reasons for a home, a restaurant or an office to have a bioethanol fireplace installed?
Bioethanol fireplaces do not need a chimney and can be used everywhere, both inside and outside a building. They are easy to use and require minimal maintenance. They burn with a beautiful yellow flame without any harmful emissions.
What was the most interesting and provocative space you had to equip with a bioethanol fireplace?
We had to provide a 3-metre long combustion chamber for an outdoor Jacuzzi.
Your fireplaces use bioethanol. What are the advantages of this type of fuel?
Bioethanol produces a good amount of heat – 1 l of it gives about 7.2 Kw. Bioethanol fireplaces are easy to charge and the fuel is easily stored because of its compact volume. Bioethanol is 100% environmentally friendly as it is made of plant waste. It could have different aromas.
How do you guarantee to your clients that they will have enough fuel for their fireplaces?
We supply and always have in stock enough of all the types of bioethanol that we offer.
What inspired you to offer Italian furniture as well?
Our desire to showcase our fireplaces surrounded by beautifully designed furniture of very good quality and value for money.
What makes them special?
The design, the materials – everything is Italian. The factory is owned by Italians who personally supervise the manufacturing processes, but the furniture is made in Bulgaria. This has significantly reduced their price without affecting their quality.
