Founded in 2007 as an alternative for offering quality education, Darbi College now recognizes a variety of accomplishments by its students, teachers and graduates, as well as admirable growth over time.
The international school, located in the heart of Sofia, is an excellent example of a nurturing environment in which students receive individual care and guidance on how to think outside the box and pursue their wildest dreams. Small classes, tailor-made study plans, high-quality secondary education system and an impeccable and truly dedicated teaching staff all contribute to the success of Darbi College graduates who continue their studies in some of the most prestigious universities in the world.
The school’s potential was recognized as early as 2007, when it became a registered centre of Cambridge Assessment International Education. Several more significant accomplishments were achieved by the school over the next few years. Cambridge International extended Darbi College eligibility to include IGCSE qualifications in 2009. In 2010 Cambridge International extended Darbi College eligibility to include science subjects, the school introduced Reception year program and was relocated to a new building.
Darbi College is extremely proud of its students and the excellent results they attain in the Cambridge International exams each year. Despite the unprecedented and challenging academic year, stricter requirements and anticipations of lower results, Darbi College students obtained exceptional results in 2022 with some students achieving A* in all subjects.
