For her, interior design is not just design, it is a combination of aesthetics, functionality and emotion that, combined, create magic.

What is the most inspiring part of interior creation, for you?

The opportunity to create spaces that tell stories. The process begins with getting to know the client – their dreams, style and lifestyle, and gradually turns into a puzzle that you have to solve in the best possible way.

I am inspired by the moment when I see my ideas come to life. It is particularly exciting to observe the clients' reactions when they see for the first time the initial project and the renderings, and later – the realisation.

I am also inspired by working with materials, textures and colours. Each detail matters – from the light's play on a particular surface to how the pieces of furniture correspond with their environment.

How do you achieve Bode Style's emblematic balance between trendy and timeless?

I believe that the inherent value of any design is in its visual and functional longevity. This requires attention to detail and intuition. The key is in combining elements that never go out of fashion with modern accents that reflect the spirit of today.

I find the classic in the basics – natural materials, clean lines and proportions that create a feeling of harmony and calm. Then I add modern details such as lighting bodies, bold colour accents or unusual textures. They bring dynamics and modernity to the interior.

What is the most important thing an interior designer should know and do when working with clients?

The good interior designer is a good listener. This is the only way to understand the client's personality and requirements and to turn them into a reality.

Building trust is the first step in this process. The client should feel that the designer understands them and works in their interest.

The designer should be realistic, too, and should be capable of managing clients' expectations – as their ideas often are hard to materialise within the given budget or space. In these cases, the designer should offer realistic alternatives.

And last, the successful interior designer should be a good story teller. Each space can say something – about its inhabitants, its function, or the feeling it has to evoke. When the designer manages to capture and express these nuances, they have created not just an interior – they have created an experience.

Коя е за Вас най-вдъхновяващата част от работата по един интериор?

Възможността да създавам пространства, които разказват истории. Процесът започва с опознаването на клиента – неговите мечти, стил и начин на живот – и постепенно се превръща в пъзел, който трябва да бъде събран по най-добрия начин.

Вдъхновява ме моментът, когато виждам как идеите оживяват. Особено вълнуващо е да наблюдавам реакциите на клиентите, когато за първи път видят идейния проект и 3D визуализациите, а по-късно и реализацията.

Вдъхновява ме и работата с материали, текстури и цветове. Всеки детайл има значение – от играта на светлината върху определена повърхност до начина, по който мебелите взаимодействат със заобикалящата ги среда.

Как успявате да постигнете емблематичния за Bode Style баланс между актуално и вечно?

Вярвам, че истинската стойност на един дизайн е в неговата визуална и функционална дълготрайност. За това са нужни внимание към детайла и интуиция. Ключът е в съчетаването на елементи, които никога не излизат от мода, с модерни акценти, които отразяват настоящия момент.

Класиката за мен е в основите – естествените материали, изчистените линии и пропорциите, създаващи усещане за хармония и спокойствие. Към това добавям съвременни детайли като осветителни тела, смели цветови акценти или нестандартни текстури. Те правят интериора динамичен и актуален.

Кое е най-важното нещо, което един интериорен дизайнер трябва да знае и прави, когато работи с клиент?

Добрият интериорен дизайнер е добър слушател. Само така той може да разбере индивидуалните нужди и изисквания на клиента, и да ги превърне в реалност.

Първата стъпка в този процес е изграждането на доверие. Клиентът трябва да усеща, че дизайнерът го разбира и работи в негов интерес.

Дизайнерът трябва да е реалистичен и да умее да управлява очакванията – идеите на клиентите често не могат да се реализират в рамките на бюджета или пространството. В тези случаи е важно дизайнерът да предложи реалистични алтернативи.

И накрая – успешният интериорен дизайнер трябва да бъде добър разказвач на истории. Всяко пространство може да разкаже нещо – за обитателите си, за функцията си, за усещането, което трябва да предизвиква. Когато дизайнерът успее да улови и изрази тези нюанси, той не просто създава интериор – той създава преживяване.
