ANNI NIKULINА: SUCCESS IS REAL WHEN SHARED

Anni Nikulinа has been with Carlsberg Group for 22 years and has extensive experience gained during various assignments in the Baltika Brewery and in the company's regional office in Asia. Before joining the Carlsberg Bulgaria's team in August 2022, she held the position of Regional Finance Director for Central and Eastern Europe, being responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting for the region, as well as for group financial projects.

How did Carlsberg maintain its leadership position in the Bulgarian market in 2022?

The last few years were not easy. The truth is that we faced a number of challenges, but despite the difficulties, we managed to achieve solid results. From a market perspective, 2022 was another stable year for Carlsberg Bulgaria. We not only maintained our leadership positions, but also expanded our product portfolio, regional and commercial presence and continue to grow in volume. Thanks to our great team of professionals, we are developing as a modern and successful company. What is more, we continue to invest in innovation and products to meet the changing expectations of our users as well as new trends in the industry. We are currently building our own can line at the brewery in Blagoevgrad, which will open this year, and which will allow us to expand our production in Bulgaria. We start 2023 with a strong strategy and faith in our team. Because success is only real when it is shared.

What is success for you and how do you achieve it?

I believe that success is first and foremost a mindset. I will explain why. In order to achieve long-term and lasting results, you need to build in yourself the habits of a winner. You need to have faith, patience and persistence. These are key factors to be able to achieve results, but also to keep them. I don't believe in luck as much as in hard work, perseverance and will, because it is this that helps us move forward in difficult times. Chance is also important, but it is temporal, while the habit of being successful is lifelong.

Which Carlsberg product is suitable for ladies, in your opinion, and why?

All our products are suitable for both women and men. Beer is a universal drink with a centuries-old history that never stops developing – there is always something new to discover! However, for the ladies, I would recommend our amazing Somersby flavors which are so delicious, especially served nicely chilled or over ice – Somersby Apple, Pear, Blueberry, Passion Fruit and Orange, Mango and Lime, Somersby 0.0 Wild Berries or our alcohol-free products Somersby Wild Berries 0.0% and Pirinsko Bodro 0.0% Lemon or Raspberry. We are preparing more surprises for the lovers of fruity flavors, which we will introduce soon.
