We are only a couple of days away from the start of Bulgaria's largest wine forum. The 9th edition of DiVino.Taste will begin this Friday, 22 November, at 5 pm, at Inter Expo Center Sofia. For the weekend, Sofia will be again Bulgaria's wine capital.

The 2019 edition of the event that unites tastings and exhibition is the largest so far. 85 wine producers will participate offering tastings of more than 550 quality and interesting Bulgarian wines. For yet another year the answers of frequently asked questions will be sought: What is Bulgaria's wine producing potential? Which are the best winemaking regions? How to choose wine at a store or in a restaurant?

As every year, DiVino.Taste offers a lot of new experiences, ideas, events and opportunities. All wines presented by the wineries are included in a special smartphone application: DiVino (for Android) and DiVino App (for iPhone), that will activate on 22 November.

For the first time in its history, DiVino.Taste will take two large halls in Inter Expo Center Sofia. Hall 5 is dedicated to Bulgarian wineries and their wines. There, a glass in hand, guests will explore the rich variety of wines on the Bulgarian market, discovering wines that they never tasted and producers they never heard of. This year, 13 wineries will debut on DiVino.Taste and many wine producers will present their new vintages and brands during DiVino.Taste.

Hall 6, dubbed Good Mood zone, will offer amenities for meetings, relaxation and discovering new experiences delicious food, coffee and water, selected delicacies, olive oils, artisanal, organic and natural products, wine and cooking accessories and vessels, wine and food books and magazines, and more. The Casavino store at the premises will sell all the wines included in the Hall 5 tastings.

For the first time in the forum's history, professionals will have the opportunity to meet future business partners working in the field of wine-related products and services.

A designated tasting space, Fine Wine Corner, will promote local Bulgarian grape varieties, presenting 25 labels of local grapes: Mavrud, Rubin, Melnik, Dimyat, Tamyanka, Misket, Gergana. These are rare wines, most of them from old vintages, short series or revealing to the full the potential of Bulgarian local varieties.

The first day of DiVino.Taste 2019 will have one more new element: a national conference dedicated to Bulgarian wine in the 21st century. It will take place on 22 November, from 10 am to 5 pm, at Vitosha Hall of Inter Expo Center.
