WAVE Resort opens its doors in June 2019. It is located at the seaside, close to Pomorie, over a territory of about 5 hectares. It has 426 rooms, all with sea view.

WAVE Resort was created after the example of the best all inclusive five-star hotels in Antalya: spacious comfortable rooms, many places for eating, big swimming pools with enough deck chairs, sport facilities, wellness and spa centre, attractions and a conference room, children swimming pools, relaxation zone and green areas.

The idea

The idea for WAVE Resort appeared 2 years ago. The investment of 35 million euros is the largest in Bulgaria's hospitality business for 2019. Aheloi Project is behind the project and investors are two established names in tourism in Bulgaria and Turkey, Ventsislav Tanchev and Emre Ünsev.

WAVE Resort

The compound

WAVE Resort offers Ultra All Inclusive – 24 hours a day with 1 main and 3 exclusive à la carte restaurants with Bulgarian, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, 3 all inclusive bars, 24-hour bistro and food corner with 7 zones and a rich variety of specialities.

For its youngest guests, the compound offers rich animation programme at the children's club, a water tower with slides, spray park with 22 water toys, playground, specifically created children menus in all restaurants, childcare service and many more.

WAVE Resort

Diverse animation programme, variety shows and folklore performances at the open-air amphitheatre will entertain the guests in the warm summer nights.

WAVE RESORT offers 7 outdoor and indoor swimming pools with combined area of 3,500 sq.m, including a main outdoor pool, an infinity pool and an open-air semi-Olympic swimming pool.

The compound also has indoor heated pools for children and adults that will work in the colder months of the year (May, June, September and October).

Around the pools there is space for over 800 deck chairs and the green zones allow separation in smaller spaces thus avoiding overcrowding and providing an opportunity for quiet relaxation.

The architecture

The WAVE Resort's architecture is inspired by the sea. The modern vision aims to inspire families to feel tranquil, in a familiar environment. The building follows the rules of classical buildings, with the symmetry of a palace that has been known for centuries and is harmonic and beautiful. The materials were inspired by the environment – the covering with sand-coloured stone with large, porous structure is typical for the Black Sea area.

The beach

The WAVE Resort beach's is 517 m long and has a beach volleyball field, a multifunctional field and options for water sports. The sand is warm and fine, with graphitic colour, rich in iron and salts. The sea bottom has a slight slope and is safe for swimming.

The hotel has 426 rooms, mainly for families with 1 or 2 children. All rooms have sea view – peripheral and central. There are also junior suites, family rooms and two-level penthouses. The so-called Lagoon Rooms have direct access to the side pools.

WAVE Resort

Wellness centre

The wellness centre has an area of 2,500 sq.m and includes indoor swimming pools for adults and children, gym on 300 sq.m, beauty and hair salon, saunas and massage parlour, Turkish bath. The accent in the procedures will be on ones using healing Pomorie mud.

Congress room

The WAVE Resort congress room is suitable for events for up to 400 people. The modular concept allows different seat layouts. The room is equipped with multimedia projector and screen, a laptop, surround system, flip charts and WLAN access. Coffee-pauses and catering can be organised.
