Surrounded by its vineyards on the rolling hills by the Danube River near Oryahovo, Burgozone is a family winery that constantly perfects its wines. The rich soil, the moderate continental climate, the sunlight and the river create the perfect terroir for Burgozone's elegant wines. The winery uses exclusively its own grapes, which are hand collected and sorted. Canopy management and green harvesting are practiced to obtain the highest possible quality of grapes.

In 2019, the Exporter Agency at the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy awarded Burgozone with the title Golden Winery of Bulgaria for development in the wine tourism.

New Burgozone wines from indigenous varieties

After years of research and development, Burgozone selected and planted the best clones of two emblematic grape varieties for Northern Bulgaria, the white Tamyanka and the red Gamza.

Tamyanka: This white grape variety from the family of Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains stands out with its elegance, freshness and aromas of lime and litchi. Limited production of 2,740 bottles.

First premium blend Esperanto: the blend mirrors the Esperanto language as an ambitious international construction, as it is made from Cabernet, Syrah and a touch of Gamza. Winner of two Gold Medals from Feminalises in Paris and Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

Esperanto with Gamza: A balanced wine with the indigenous Bulgarian grape variety specific for the Northern region. A complex blend with fruits, freshness and long finish.

Burgozone welcomes wine lovers and curious visitors, who want to enjoy an unforgettable experience with a glass of wine and the breeze of the Danube River.
