Hadjidraganovite Kashti, or Hadzhi Dragan's Houses, is like a time machine that will take you back to 1866, educating you on the country's rites and culture while leading you on a culinary journey with Bulgarian specialties. According to the legend, the 19th century Hadzhi Dragan, a trader of wool and silk, used to travel around the country for many years, getting acquainted with its regions. During his journeys, he was greatly impressed by the beauty of the Bulgarian houses, each of them having a characteristic appearance and style. So he decided to gather all of this beauty in Sofia. He then called the best master builders and asked each of them to build the best house he is capable to design. This is how the restaurant appeared, in 1866.
