Sofia Office Centre is one of the first business complexes in Bulgaria who has applied for certification after the prestigious British certificate BREEAM 2016: Excellent, part Offices. Europroperty, the investing company, promises that the two new office buildings will meet the high requirements for sustainability of the international standard: for innovations, energy efficiency, environment, used materials, management and others, including electric vehicle charging stations: a compulsory requirement for BREEAM certification.
"Energy efficiency will be a top priority during the design and construction stages. Sofia Office Centre will have incredibly low energy consumption and will meet a number of requirements that will make everything easier for the tenants and the owner of the building," explains Hristo Chepishev, CEO of Europroperty.
Sofia Office Centre is on a key location, on Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard, by a metro station and the business city that is taking shape in the area. The separate offices will be finished in accordance with the individual requirements of the clients. "The conference rooms, the relaxations zones, the gym, the restaurants and the cafes are already a compulsory element for business buildings," adds Hristo Chepishev. "The modern office goes beyond the function of a 'working space.' Today office spaces bring an added value to their inhabitants, and the environment and the additional services are a part of the contemporary social packages for the employees. This is only logical, as people spend an increasing part of their day at their working places, and they should be productive."
Sofia Office Centre – 1 will be the first building of the complex to be finished; construction began in May 2017. It should be finished in 2019. Construction works on Sofia Office Centre – 2 will start after 5-6 months and will end by the end of 2019.
The two buildings combined will have 57,000 sq.m of total built up area: the first one will have 25,000 sq.m, and the second – 32,000 sq.m. The business complex will be built on an area of 1.2 hectares.
The rented spaces in the complex will be 43,000 sq.m.
