What do ten years mean for the elegant five-star Hilton Sofia hotel? That it's time for a party – with more than 300 guests, exquisite cuisine, live music and fireworks.

Many celebrities, corporate clients and dignitaries gathered for the occasion on 10th November, including Italian ambassador Stefano Benazzo, French ambassador Philippe Autié, and the ambassador for the Republic of South Africa Sheila Camerer. Mrs Camerer had an important part to play, since she participated in the lottery drawing for the great prize of the evening – three nights at the Hilton Cape Town in South Africa. Additional holidays and weekend trips found their way to the lucky winners of the draw, but some of the highlights such as the impressive anniversary cake made by the Hilton's dessert chefs were shared by all. Fireworks and a special light show on the façade lit up the sky above the hotel, while all the guests left with presents related to the Hilton's latest ecological initiative – protecting and developing the bee population.
