There are countries that are gorgeous regardless of season, and this is certainly true for Spain.

Now, thanks to the Europe Senior Tourism programme, Bulgarian citizens over 55 years of age can enjoy the beauty of Andalusia, Valencia and the Balearic islands at special prices. The pilot programme, which ran from 2009 to 2011 and aimed to support tourism among senior citizens, garnered participation of more than 6,000 Bulgarians.

Now the Spanish government, which subsidizes the programme, has presented the new edition in Sofia.

Until April 2012 the maximum price of the basic package will be 411 euro and will include a round trip by plane, transfers, half-board at 4-star restaurant, insurance and entertainment programme. All those over 55 can enjoy it and can also be accompanied by another person at the same conditions. Bulgarian companies Aerotravel, Bohemia Tours and Profi Tours carry the offer exclusively, and if you want to learn more, check out www.europeseniortourism.eu.
