Mor Karbasi is coming to Sofia to perform in Spanyolit, a music genre created centuries ago by the Spanish Jews

The spectacular singer Mor Karbasi is coming to Sofia to present her latest album La Hija de la Primavera (The Daughter of Spring) in Spanyolit, a music genre created centuries ago by the Spanish Jews. Born in Jerusalem 25 years ago, Mor carries the versatility of her parents’ roots into her music combining Persian, Moroccan, Spanish and Jewish elements. Mor’s music is already warmly received by critics as it brings back the culture and music of the Sephardi Jews who were exiled from the Iberian Peninsula in the end of the 15th Century.

The concert is organised by the Embassy of Spain in Bulgaria.
