You have a free weekend in Sofia and you still wonder what to do? Why not join a socially beneficial event and learn more about the capital’s history?

On 16 April the non-profit association Potomtsi, or Descendants, is organising a community clean-up of the archaeological site West Porte of Serdika, which has been neglected for years. The site was part of the wall of ancient Serdika, a Roman fortress built in the 2nd Century AD. The Roman Saturday takes place at 10 am just behind the Cathedral of St Joseph, 146 Prince Boris I Str.
