Belgian cuisine was in the spotlight with the Belgian Culinary Festival that took place at the Hilton in Sofia.

The fifth edition of the festival bore the motto "WITLOOF, with love from Belgium" and featured recipes with witloof cicory, gray shrimps and Ganda ham, made by popular chef Frank Fol.

The festival grows from year to year and presents the many aspects of Belgian culture, economy and traditions. Food and art came together with the first Bulgarian exhibition of Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte, which can be seen at the Crystal Palace hotel at 14 Shipka St up to 25 November.
